 The Medical Office Building (MOB) is under way. The ground is cleared, graded and seems to be draining nicely. With all the rain we are already behind schedule, but the contractors are working today (Saturday) to makeup some time.
At you monthly meeting Monday night, we were informed that the City and Indian Electric had requested some change for the gas and electricity coming into the building. And the changes would cost almost $20,000 more. Needless to say, this was good news!
So Dennis Blind and Harlin Hendricks met with representatives from the city to see what we could work out. The city was not insistent about the changes and had requested them because they realize it would cost more. So they withdrew their request.
Then they met with Indian Electric. Unfortunately their changes had to be made. BUT they agreed to do the extra work for us! Dennis said, "In 31-years of experience, I have never had an electric company do this!".
What a great resolution. The City, Electric Company and the Trust Authority all working together!
